Eastwood PJ pants

Batch sewing PJ pants for Christmas presents?! So original!

My first ever purchase from Lakes Makerie in the early days was flannel for Christmas Present PJ pants for my brothers. They've finally grown out of them, so I got to pick up some more flannel from LM for new ones!

I used the Eastwood PJ pattern by thread theory. It's fabulously done, of course, to the point where my only complaint is that they might be a little over designed. There are so many options for pockets/faux fly/etc that sorting through the instructions for the parts I needed was a bit of a pain. Thankfully pj pants are pretty straightforward and easy to work through and I could more or less leave the instructions alone.

These are a bit of an upgrade from last time when I traced off a pair of (my own? I don't remember) pj pants and SUPER shoddily sized them down a bit. Now they're all taller than me so I used an actual pattern and had to remember I can't buy like 1/4 –1/2 yard less fabric and expect it to work out because I have to shorten everything.

Had to try them on after finishing of course. A little long and a little tight in the butt, but mostly comfy and good! I expect the younger 2 to grow out of these at some point — would it be rude to ask for them back?

Oh and made my husband a pair too.
